It is very important to orient your home to its best advantage. Maximize energy savings by placing windows and sun filled areas in optimum locations that offer aspects inviting natural heating and air flow. This will have a big impact on reducing energy bills too.

The sketch below shows the ideal house orientation and room locations on different lot orientations. Living areas should ideally face north to utilise the northerly sun.
